The toddler years are an unforgettable stage. Their personalities are developing, their emotions are 100% heightened and their energy level is insane.
And with all of that energy, they just want to play, play, play. Toys are a huge part of their lives and it’s important to get ones that they will love (and their parents will love, too).
How exactly do you do that? Two things to remember:
- Ask the parents what the toddler is into at the moment- characters, movies, animals etc.
- Avoid getting something that is a million pieces, like Legos. Toddlers are mini hurricanes and trust me when I say, parents will be cursing your name every time they have to pick them all up. Or step on a stranded piece in the middle of the night. You don’t want to be that person.
If you still have no idea what would make a great gift, I put together this list of toddler toys to inspire you.
